When Paint Spray Booth Was Invented

By George Johnson

Invention of this technology to be specific started as a method and instrument for circulating air to an automated process to control over spray formed in the booth in time of painting. A brief description in the earlier art hereto the downdraft the paint spray booth as a vacuum usually beyond the ceiling of the equipment and running the across the entire system.

Air was always emitted from the whole vacuum in the painting chamber of the equipment. It was moved to a lower direction around the substance to be painted where it picked up the drying agent and excess liquid that was left during the painting operation and it underwent treatment to remove the excess liquid, normally with a water wash.

It is also used to contain things like resins varnish smell and conformal coatings. So, use of these methods in your daily activity have respiratory health disadvantages.

Use of these method output range overlaps to filtration and extraction units, movable work benches as well as replacement filters. Tanning mist extractor units are a different kind of device which is used only to capture the particles and excess tanning mist solution.

Therefore, dispersing mist gun replaced hand brushing which proved to be more time consuming and uneconomical. After the first dispersing mist gun, an expansion occurred in the finishing industry and thus there was need to modify the design of the spraying system. As a result, the first modernized device was developed in order to meet the market expectations as well as to also improve the standard of the finishing industry. That in turn spawned technologies we now take for granted in spray booth design, such as water wash, downdraft airflow and many others.

This system is generally made of steel which are secure and firmly supported. Sometimes they are made by concrete or masonry except aluminum which is highly combustible. It can be made of any incombustible material. Such systems are usually designed to sweep air currents towards the exhaust outlet.

This gadget should be smooth and continuous without corners in the interior surface. This helps to prevent pocketing of residues and also enable cleaning and washing without injury since edged may scratch and cause injury. The floor should also be incombustible. In short, these modernized gadget should be made by incombustible material in all its parts including the baffle plates and the filter rolls.

Most of these equipment that are used to disperse the liquid are meant to be portable so as to facilitate the movement by the painter. Air flow of car system is from top to bottom and it varies in size depending on the size of the vehicle, for these modernized equipment for a car is different from the spray booth of a bus or even a lorry. During the construction of this modernized equipment all this is taken into consideration for they are essential for efficient working of the equipment.
